Brakes problem
2007 Toyota Yaris 4 cyl Automatic 8000 miles
On 2 occasions when attempting to drive off there was a loud scraping, growling noise and the vehicle would only move a few inches forward or reverse with "protest" It seemed as if the brakes had locked on. Checked the operation of the brake pedal/hand lever which seemed normal. Turning the igniton off & on again made no difference.
After about 5 mins the problem cleared and I was able to drive normally.
