NO. IF I WERE TO DO THAT THEN THE DOWNWARD STROKE WOULD BE WELL BELOW THE BOTTOM AND INTO THE COWELING. WHEN I TURN OFF, IT BOTTOMS AT THE RIGHT PLACE AND THEN RISES BACK TO THE MIDDLE. AS I SAID, WHEN RUNNING, THE STROKE IS PERFECT.

after I replaced the wiper linkage, the blades have perfect articulation but always stop in the center of the windshield. No matter where I turn if off.
Is this the relay or the motor?
