color=black]My girlfriends canadian 1992 toyota tercel has 230k kms and recently had a head gasket done.
Ever since, when you drive at freeway speeds for 20 minutes or more, the temperature gauge drops to almost the C (cold). It then sometimes raises slowly to a normal reading, in the middle. the thermostat was replaced once with the head gasket, and again approx 1 month later with no improvement. what could be causing this? should I try a toyota brand thermostat? Is the temperature sender faulty? the heater seems to blow colder when the gauge reads low. thanks[/color]
