Transmission problem
1995 Toyota Tercel 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 155K miles

I just finished replacing the oil pan gasket, transmission gasket & filter, and the rear oil seal. put it all back together with out chilton manual (which i cant seem to find). So now my problems is no leaks but shifts late (i think) at about (20 and 55). Can you please give me instructions and steps to adjust it?

Thanks,
Tommie

First you will need to adjust the TV (throttle valve) cable from the trans to the throttle. This should take care of you problem

try applying the EGR valve with the engine idling. It should almost if not totally kill the engine. If it doesnt, the EGR passages are clogged and will need to be cleaned out

There is no spec for speed of shifts, so if it feels right to you, like it did before then it should be fine. Those speeds sound about right
