Engine Performance problem
1993 Toyota Tercel 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual
93 tercel is very hard to start. it is hard cold and very hard hot. i have replaced the rings due to low comp. and eccessive oil use. new dist cap and wires ..new plugs and fuel filter. new intake and head gasket. i have checked the codes and there are none except normal. this thing will start if i play with the gas pedal and grind away on the starter...it acts like it is firing on 2 or 3 cyl. and the starter spins faster and faster untill it finally starts. it runs fairly well after it starts.
i am at a loss on what to do next and any help would be greatly apprecated.....please help!! oh and spraying starting fluid into the intake does no good
