2005 Toyota Tacoma wheel nuts

i need to use an m12*1.75 lug nut on a wheel which usually uses an m12*1.5.
If i change the stud to an m12*1.75, will this still work?

Hi there,

As long as the taper on the nut is correct and matches the rim, you should not have a problem.

do you mean if it is an acorn or flat faced lug nut etc?
or is there a thread in the wheel i need to account for?
