I need some help with replacing the driver side mirror- does the entire door panel have to be removed? Is it possible just to remove the upper portion of the door panel?

Hello –

To better assist you please tell me if your model is just a Tacoma, or Prerunner, orX-Runner. Also your engine size in liter and the 8th digit of your VIN.

Thanks for your help thus far. My real difficulty is getting the door panels off--could you provide a clearer graphic of that process? The subsequent graphics of the actual R&R are terrific, but the door graphic, even when enlarged, is extremely difficullt to visualize. Thanks for your efforts on my behalf.

Hello - Is this the pic you are talking about? I had to break it down into 3 parts.........so overlap and piece together. If this does not work go into the PM and send me your email address and I will try that way. If that doesn't work we can try a fax if you have a number.
