1999 Toyota Tacoma No oil pressure.

Is oil pressure switch hooked up? Any engine noise?

Yes the oil pressure switch is hooked up and I even tried a oil gauge tha shows the exact pressure , and when you first start it it goes up to about 10 lbs of pressure for about a minute then bottoms out , and yes you can hear the lifters ticking and the rods starting to knock a little.

Can't think of what could have happened. The repair should have no effect on oil pressure. Only thing i can think of would be big leak at T belt tensioner but you would see oil running out.Was cam removed?

no the cam wasn't removed and the oil pump was never touched, no leaks are present but then again there is no oil pressure , is there anyway to check and see if it had spun the bearings or not , because if its the oil pump I can change it but if it is the bearings I would have to change engines. I did have to take off the valve covers , is there anyway something could have gotten blocked somewhere right there?

Possible let's do a test take off oil filler cap run engine is there pressure?

yes there is some pressure because there is oil coming out the hole, is there anyway to find out if it had spun a bearing or not?

Not without droping oil pan and inspecting each bearing. Check to see if PCV has suction on it.
