engine not getting fuel,replaced fuel filter,how can i tell if fuel pump is bad ? does a fuel pump make noise? like clicking or humming mine has none at all. took pump out of tank , hooked wires to pump then to battery. nothing.

Hi there,

This pump will Humm when in operation, Is the strained still attached, if at all in doubt fit a new pump, but don't dry run it as it will over heat and fail quickly. Check fuel pressure and pressure retention.
