2006 Toyota Solara stripped oil pan

I have a stripped oil pan from overtightening the plug. Do you recommend fixing the problem by using a different size or type plug, or replacing the oil pan?

Do you recommend fixing the problem by using a different size or type plug, or replacing the oil pan? If it can work permanently go for it otherwise replace it with a 2nd hand will do, make sure its in good condition.
