This minivan belongs to my sister and when she took it to the dealer they told her the rack and pinion "which is really expensive". was leaking so it needed to be replaced,So I checked it and saw that it leaked from the seals but it wasnt as bad and decided to just change the seals. Well , my friend (a mechanic) and I did it and surprisingly it worked fine for 10 minutes but then it leaked all the liquid from the left (driver) side . took it(rack and pinion) off the car ,and dissasemble it again but didn't seem to be a problem. used new seals again , turned the car on ,looks good ,but this time it stars to leak right after I start steering and now from both sides

Most parts stores carry rebuilt racks for about 100.00, much easier than doing the rebuild yourself!
