4x4 worked fine until went on long road trip, using 4x4 a lot. at the end of the trip near home, I pressed the 4x4 switch on the dash and nothing happened. No dash lights, no 4x4. The switch just didn't work.
I let it sit for ten minutes at home and it worked again. I drove it in and out of 4wd with no problem until three days later. Again the switch didn't work. nothing happens when the button is pressed.
A while ago, same thing happened with my rear window wiper and defroster: stopped working then a few days later started working again.
