Afte getting new front brakes (resurfaced rotors, replaced brake pads, cleaned calipers, lubed slides) and rear brakes cleaned and adjusted, I have started hearing a noise often times when I apply the brakes. it is sort of a crunching or grating sound. I took it back to the dealer and they said the brakes are fine. Any thoughts?

second question: My brother-in-law says I need a new timing belt at 90K miles. I got a new drive belt at 87K, is that the same thing?

thank you!

Hi there, you must do the timing belt when its due, as if it fails you can do a lot of engine damage, its not the same at the drive belt, as for the brakes, there is something not right there, this is something that need to be viewed, but i feel its in the pads, may be a backing plate not set properly.
