HOW DO I GET INTO THE BONNET OF A TOYOTA PREVIA THINK THE CATCH MAY HAVE BROKEN and engine is overheating

Try having someone pull the release under the dash as you lift up on the hood. Also check if the cable from the hood release under the dash is connected to the pull handle. If not use a pair of pliers carefully to pull the cable and release the hood. Let me know if this helps.
