roof needs to be cut and replaced

to repair the storm damage the roof needs to be cut and replaced. we are worried if the new car be repaired to its original condition. Appreciate if you could advise.

Hello,

If only the roof skin (upper part of the roof), and not the structural components get replaced, then it will not have any issues.
However if the roof structure was compromised, it is not recommended to simply cut the top off and replace it. This can compromise the structural integrity of the vehicle. Which may not provide adequate protection during a collision.
