should I go ahead and change timing belt or will I hasve some sort of warning before trouble happens ie noise etc

Replace the timing belt now-don't wait for any type of noise could cost you a major repair later

i would suggest replacing it. a lot of times there will be no warning at all, it will just snap and sometimes you will get a warning growl if a pulley or tensioner is starting to fail. if you have 90k then your running on borrowed time already. some vehicles are known for certain mileage belt failure. some will break right at 60k when the interval is suggested and some will last alot longer 90k plus but its a gamble.
