2002 Ford Pickup Blown fuse, door ajar light, and interio

Electrical problem
2002 Ford Ranger Pickup 4 cyl 55000 miles

The #2 fuse (10A) keeps blowing out. I tried to replace it with a 15A fuse but it blew through that too. This fuse controls the transmission, pass. air bag deact. switch, back up lamps, and blower motor relay etc.

Also, this may or may not be related. Sometimes the interior light will stay on after starting/killing the ignition. It goes off by itself at seemingly random times. Also, the door ajar light comes on rather frequently too. What the heck is going on here?

Any suggestions as to the cause and/or solution to these?
