I am leaking coolant, we thought it was coming from the hose from bottom of thermostat housing but it is still leaking. There is a "bolt" (that is what it looks like) under the engine where a 6-7" horseshoe shaped rubber hose connects...I do not know what it is called but there is a perfectly round hole here and it looks like it is leaking. The hole looks factory made, is it supossed to be here. I am going to try to attach a picture.[img:ebf8ec5716]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/455946_dsc04629_1.jpg[/img:ebf8ec5716]
Thanks,
James

Hi there, there is no hole in the thermostat housing. If that is indeed a drilled hole, it may be a place to bleed air out of the system. Have you removed it to see if there is a passage through it?

Ok, I have been asking questions based on what I was told...apparently it is not actually on housing. There is bypass hose? it is 6-7" horseshoe shaped rubber hose underneath the side of the motor~the part it connects to has the hole...we do not know what the part is called~it is on the side of engine toward bottom a little above oil filter.
