Electrical problem
1994 Toyota Pickup 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 136K miles

While idling the speedometer will jump up to about the 50mph mark then come back down to 0. It had been working fine until yesterday. While driving the speedometer went to 0 and the odometer stopped moving also. I pulled the dash apart and removed the multi meter instrument panel. There is no speedometer cable per say. It is all electronic. I'm not sure what I should do next. Any ideas on what I should be leaning towards? If I remember correctly this instrument panel was an upgrade on the 94 model when it was new. Will I need to replace the entire instrument panel?
