1992 Toyota Pickup won't turn on.no sound/no dash lights,he

turning key and nothing happens,no sound at all,it is dead..and the dash lights cannot turn on either..
Now the headlights turn on,and the inside dome light can be turned on.....Break lightsdo't turn on either. I have a brand new battery,i bought it thinking it might do the trick,,,but it had the same response....NOTHING from the key.And the dash lights are dead too....

I am thinking that you might have a main fuse link problem, this provides power through out the vehicle. There is also a main relay but lets start here and if this is good then we will go to the main relay ok. Here is a diagram of it so you can check it out. Let me know how it goes.
