Hello,
I am attempting to replace the timing belt, but in order to do so I have to pull off the power steering pulley with a puller. I also need a counter holding bar for the job, but cannot find one anywhere in my town. Is there something that I can do to stop the crankshaft pulley from turning when I rotate the bolt on the puller without using this tool?
Thanks,
Paul

Hi there,

remove the starter motor and with the help of a friend, lock up the drive plate with a suitable lever.
