I recently purchased a 92 Toyota Pickup. I have replaced the gas tank, gas cap and the fuel line running from the tank to the engine. Last night I got approx 2 mile from home when the truck started to act like it was running out of gas. I had a quarter tank. I limped it to the gas station and shut it off at the pump. when I got out gas was pouring out of a hole in the frame at right front. my new fuel line was not leaking. When I open the gas cap I relieved a large amount of suction or pressure. the leak stopped, i put approx 12 gallon of fuel in. the truck started and ran fine the rest of the evening approx 30 miles without any further problem. Any ideas of what could be the cause of the leak?

A clogged EVAP cannister or purge valve not working.

EVAP systems are best checked at dealer or trusted garage, they can test solenoids and purge valves.
