I have a 1989 Toyota pickup that started idling at about 1500 a couple months ago. I took it to my mechanic at he told me to change my Mass Air Flow Sensor, so i did, but there was no change. so time passed and i was talking to a couple buddys and they told told me that it was probably my Throttle possitioning sensor, so i changed that, and the idle dropped a little but it is still at about 1300 and now the idle drops so it will start at 1300 and drop and rise again and drop and rise again. I was thinking that i might have a small hole in my head gasket and it is sucking air but i dont know. any advise would be helpful.
