My 1982 toyota pickup hadnt been ran due to engine problems for about a year. I fixed the problems and ran it today. I went up a steep hill and then around the neighborhood and the clutch pedal became very loose. It has no pressure and when i acelerate it revs up to 4000 rpm's and hardly goes anywhere? If its the master clutch whats the best way to install a new one?

Sounds more like you need a clutch assembly-up to 4k rpm and hardly moves-its slipping

the best way and least trouble is buy the clutch master and slave already assembled and install and cut the wire tie and you have clutch. if can,t buy complete then you must bleed system.. goodluck billymac
