I have a LC 100, V8, 2000 model. When I drive the car I hear a ticking noise from the engine which dissappers afer a few hundred yards. This only happens when the car has been standing with engien off for a while. The valve clearance & shims have been checked. Very annoying and I'm wondering if it's the beginning of bad news? Just want to know what to do about it.
