upon cornering, the steering wheel does not self align to the forward position. It all started after disassembly of part of the steering gear in an attempt to replace tie rod ends and ball joints.
Car-make, Toyota coroner ST170; MODEL1992; 2 wheel drive with stick shift and power steering.mileage -30000.
Upon steering either right or left to the extreme ends, there is a sharp buzzing sound noticed. Is this problem remediable or will it need a new steering gear system?
Thanks.

The noise is hard to say...but after U replace tie rods and ball joint, you MUST get an alignment, OK?
