Toyota 4rnr, 4x4, 22re engine, 2.4 ltr, maunal trans, 200,000 miles

as i was preparing to lube the rear universal joint in the rear driveline. i could feel with my hand a very small amount of looseness, presumedly from wear. upon lubing, the movement was no longer discernable.

i am about 2500 miles from home visiting where i have limited tools and will be driving home shortly. i am not familiar with how the wear progresses but don't want to break down on the road. i know you can't say for certain but what is your best guess?should i replace the universal joint now? or will it likely make the trip? i would prefer to wait until i am home where i have access to a lift, better selection of tools and my mechanic to guide me.

thank you.

2500 miles is a long way-change it now-it does not require special tools.
