Hi, i was wondering if it was safe to tap into the heater core to circulate some of the heated water for other applications?
also, lets assume the engine being used has a force induced addon like a turbo or supercharger, if tuned properly, i should be able to keep the average engine temp about the same, correct?
my reasons for asking - i'm working on a Oxi-Hydrogen system to increase fuel efficiency and ultimatly rid the need for gasoline. my only wall blocking me is a heating system to keep the inner reactor temp between 160 and 200 degrees for optimum fuel production. i figured by tapping into the heater core, i could circulate some of the hot water into some thermal fins inside the reactor like a heatsink would do on an amplifier to disperse waste heat.
Edit - my vehicle is a 2006 Scion xB, basicly the same thing as the Toyota Echo, just a newer version of the same engine and diffrent chassis.
