1992 Other Toyota Models knocking

what could cause knocking in the upper end by the head. when we rev the engine up it gets worse at a certain point and mild at other points. wen i start it up it will knock for about a second in a half.

i have it timed rite.


if i could get a list of things that would cause it that would be great.
