1987 Toyota MR2 Car won't stay running.

Car will start and run fine for about two or three min.
then will go dead and will not start again.
If you wait about a half hour or more, it will start again
and do the same thing again.
have replaced, dist. cold start sen. computer, fuel filter
nothing seems to help.
any idea what could be wrong.
