2003 Toyota Matrix 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

the car is sluggish to start - the hazzard lites went on while driving and the horn started beeping what could cause this

my best guess is a combination of poor electrical connection (possibly loose battery terminals) and security system acting up when the connection is made/lost. Unless there is an aftermarket security system, check the battery cables.
