power steering

1996 Toyota land cruiser 125,000 miles. When turning at low speeds, like pulling in and out of parking space, power steering is hard to turn. I have replaced the power steering pump, which had been leaking, power steering hose and the steering gear. Still having same problems. Could the new power steering pump be bad or any other suggestins.

Check the belt tension on the unit. What type of fluid did you use in thhe unit? Did you bleed the unti after installattion and filling?
