Engine Performance problem
2001 Toyota Highlander 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

My engine is misfiring. OBD 2 scanner says cyl #2. I replaced the plug (iridium). Problem still exists. I switched the plug wire/coil with another cyl. Same problem (#2). I switched injectors arouind. Same thing (#2). Not a sludge engine. Pulled valve cover recently. Pretty clean. Frequent oil changes, although.... Within the past 20,000 mi (Approx. 2 yrs) have begun to burn unusually large amounts of oil. Especially during highway trips 65-75 mph. 300 mi rd trip, 1.5 qts burned each way!!! Also blue smoke cloud @ cold start-up. Burns little or none driving aroun town 30-40 mph, for 2-3-4 weeks. Waddaya think?

Could be depends on the cylinder compression both dry and wet readings- or a cylinder leakage test
