Computer problem
2002 Toyota Echo 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
My daughter's Echo wouldnt start a couple of days ago. I went over for a few minutes, all lights & gauges look fine and would turn over but not run. I went back the next day and it started right up. Same thing happened today. After engaging the starter several times it starts right up. I checked the ECM relay, it is fine. Plug in my code reader and it won't link. I tried the reader on my Tundra and it works fine. My guess is the ECM is bad on the Echo. How can I verify this before spending several hundred on another ECM?
