1983 Toyota Cressida fuel filter

I would like to know where the fuel filter is. It has a diagram of it in the service manual but no location.

What is this? is it the 5M or 7M engine-for the 5M-GE engine its under the intake manifold drivers side towards the rear of the engine.

If it's a 5M-GE, it'll be under the intake manifold as noted. It's also a nightmare to get out. I paid a local mechanic 35$ to replace it for me, and got more than my money's worth of entertainment from the new swear words he invented trying to remove it.

If it's the 5M-E, it may be in a different location.
