Gas smell

I have a Toyota Corolla, and I have it parked in the garage, and it has a strong gas smell after just sitting for a while. Can you help me out here?

its that a fuel injection or carburator?

i had a 83 toyota tersel had the same problem,checked the fuel tank vent line, it was rusted through, allowing fumes inside car. hope this helps you
