My reverse now acts as 1st gear

My reverse now acts as 1st gear and my netural acts as park. Could this be the shift solenoid and if so, what would you estimate repair costs to be? If not shift solenoid, what would you think it would be and the approximate cost to repair?

It sounds like the shift cable has come apart here are diagrams and instructions on how to change it below. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
