I recently was involved in an accident and ever since I got the car back from the body shop I have noticed a difference in the way it handles, particularly in the wind, even light winds. I also seem to be getting this loose feeling from the front end on continuous curves. The body shop replaced the drivers door, front bumper, and hood. They also balanced the tires.

Could there be any reason for the difference in handling?

You may have front suspension damage the body shop missed. I would take it to an alignment shop and have the toe, camber and caster checked, as well as the suspension components (ball joints, tie rods, control arms, struts etc.).
