Engine Mechanical problem
2004 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 175K miles

Car seems to have no fuel delivery, where is the pump and/or filter. Does the computer turn the pump off if a sensor fails?
Thanks for any help

Fuel pump is in tank, you would need to check the fuel pressure with a mechanical gauge to verify fuel pump problems.
Fuel pump is fused, has a relay and is controlled by PCM.
I believe the filter is in tank also, but check maint. schedule in owners manual. If there is no scheduled change interval, then it is part of pump assy. It should also tell you that it is not serviceable.

I would start with fuel pressure test as mentioned an go from there, if pressure is low, then it is pump or restriction in fuel delivery system.
