Toyota Corolla 2003 is making a knocking/clicking sound when I brake.
This is happening only when I am driving forward and pressing the brake pedal.
Never had this issue before and starting after my mechanic replaced both wheel bearings in front. The rotor and pads where not replaced as at that time the pads were still having 70% to go.
Afterwards, my car was checked by a different mechanic (couldn’t trust the first one, as the sound occurred after the wheel bearings were replaced), but as everything seems to be O.K., he just machined both front rotors, as he said that these could be a little warped. One week later, everything seemed to be O.K., but after that, the annoying knocking/clicking sound is being heard again, all the time when I am pressing the brake. Please see below, the movies taken in order to provide you with an idea about the nature of this sound.

Hi there,

Check that the brake pad support clips are still fitted, if broken or missing the pads will move in the calipers and make a click noise.

You can try re tightening the drive shaft nut, these can cause the shaft spline to creak , click and groan if not dead tight.
