I took my car to the Toyota dealership two weeks ago because the airbag light was coming on and flashing while I drove. The dealership said it was a bad passanger side seat belt. It was replaced and the light remained off until recently. The light came on while I was driving on Monday but on Tuesday and the rest of the week it has been off. I brought it back to the dealership and they said I need a new air bag computer. After researching I believe that they did not callibrate the seat after the repair. If I apply slight pressure to the passanger side seat while driving the seatbelt warning light will flash for the passenger side. Is it more likely that this is being caused by a broken computer or a seat that was not callibrated? Thank you for your help!

Yes, I agree. If right seat is too sensitive, and no one in it, it will set an airbag code.

Attach seatbelt on right side, to prove theory.
