2002 Toyota Corolla Heater/ac control bulb replacement

How do I replace the Heat/AC control bulbs. I tried twisting the socket but they wont buge. I am afraid that if i apply to much force the sockets will break.

Look at socket bulbs goes into. If it says "Replace as an Assy", then the bulb itself cannot be replaced, you must replace the assy. (bulb and socket).
