2001 Toyota Corolla Strange noise when I speed up?

Hello, I recently had my tires replaced because I had a tire lose its threading. Well lately I have been hearing this strange noise as I drive on the freeway, my boyfriend says that it may be something with the balance of my tire or the suspension? I have no clue and everytime I go to a mechanic I get my eyes poked out with the price for something so simple. Any clue?The noise slows down as the car slows down, I am concerned and do not want to have anything major happened while I am driving. Please help

You can raise the car, put on stands. Grasp the tire and pull/push both horizontally and vertically. If you feel any play then you may have a suspension problem e.g. ball joints, tie rod, control arm or bushing, bearings.

Having said that, sometimes you can get a bad tire, one that will whine or sound like snow tire at speed.
If it is a front tire making noise, you move the tire to the rear and the noise moves with it, then the tire is at fault.

If suspension is OK, then I would have the tire changed under warranty.

If this started after the new tire was put on, then logic would suggest it is the tire, not a suspension/steering issue.
