Hi,

Yesterday I had accident that had a minor damage to front left portion of the car. But the car had hard collision with other tyer's car. This also caused damage to my car. After accident when I turn the steering I could see my right wheel moves fine but the left wheel was not moving at all. I had to tow my car to my home.

I would like to know in such cases what could be the issue and ballpark estimate to get it repair. I am just wondering if m car would go for total loss. I would expect the body repair would be around 2000-2500$ but need to know how much would cost for the steering/wheel problem.

thanks

Most likely you broke the tie rod end and bent the shaft.

You will have to inspect the outer tie rod. It is also possible the knuckle is broke.

Repair cost would be difficult to estimate, until the presice damage is identified.
