2001 corolla 1.6 sr model

hello!
had a 01 corolla sr vvt-i 3 door hatchback and flipped it, the shell is wrecked but the engine is ok, my problem is i want to know if my engine will fit in any other model corolla of that age or is it only the vvt-i models, i'm guessing the wiring loom is different in anything other than vvt-i, could anyone shed some light
