I have a 2000 Toyota Corolla. Tonight as I was driving home the power, radio and engine, shut down for just a second. It happened four times. The first 3 times the engine picked up again, but the fourth time it stopped. In all the cases the power came right back on and I could restart the car just fine.
More Info from Sunday:
Yesterday I drove the car around the neighborhood for 10 minutes, no problems. Then I drove 70 miiles on the freeway, no problems. But then I hit a national park and was on a road that had hills and a speed limit of 25mph. The car died about every quarter mile. It died if I was coasting down a hill or if I was lightly accelerating up a hill. On the dirve home it died at 45 mph and another time at 50mph, but once I was on the freeway it was fine.
Is anyone here???
Any ideas? Thanks,
Ted
