2000 Toyota Corolla about how much money did I just cost my

I broke my car. Its making a knocking sound, a family friend told me that, it was the engine rod. When I went to get my oil changed there wasnt any in it and I was 23000 miles overdo for a change. Now the car vibrates when started and then shuts down. I know my engine is shot, but including labor and engine parts how much am I looking at spending. If you could give me a range like best and worst that would be awesome. Also if you could suggest some quality repair shops, that would be great. I live in dallas texas if anyone knows a local shop. Please I need help.
