Steering problem
1996 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
Recently my car has been squealing when the wheel was turned and last week i was trying to go to work i put the car in reverse and when i did it made a loud noise and the steering was locked. i did not drive my car that day and later bought power steering fluid. my steering still sticks on sharp turns but the squealing is gone and the wheel is not locked and seems normal on minor turns. Since putting in power steering fluid last week i have checked the level nearly every day, i am afraid that i may have over filled the fluid. Could that be the source of my problem or is there something else? i try not to drive it often but it is the only way i can get back and forth to work.
