HI there , With the car jacked up on stands, drain sup, remove exhaust engine pipe, undo front & rear engine mounts and unbolt cross member, the engine is still supported with side mounts so it is quite safe, unbolt sump and remove, remember that these sumps use a chemical sealant and not a gasket. all old sealant must be removed completely.
