I replaced my thermostate in April 2010. Later I replaced the radiator in June 2010. Shortly after replacing the radiator the water pump start leaking. The car was continously driven after noticing the leak and it hadn't been a problem until the weather started getting colder in the mornings. Now the heater takes a while to get warm. I am assuming it has to do with the leaking of the water pump and you can correct me if I'm wrong. So my question is what is the average price of getting a water pump replaced on this car. Reason I asked is I am currently deployed to Afghanistan and my wife took it in to get an estimate and it was almost $300 with out the part. I don't think it should be that expensive especially when I just got the power steering pump replaced and it sits right next to the pump and I paid almost $170 for parts and labor. If you could give me an idea of what you think the price is or if you think my wife is getting shafted I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

$ 250 should be a fair price to do it all parts and labor
$ 300 just for labor , is over priced and should get another opinion
